This Privacy Policy applies to GEO Catalyst websites, applications, reports, forms, communications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). “GEO Catalyst,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the Services.
Our Services are designed primarily for businesses and professionals. A customer may submit information about its clients, prospects, markets, prompts, websites, or campaigns. The customer is responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to provide that information to us.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Contact and business information, such as name, work email, company or agency name, website, role, client count, market, and service category.
- Account information, authentication records, workspace membership, preferences, and support communications.
- Content submitted to the Services, including prompts, client or prospect information, target businesses, reports, notes, source URLs, and campaign inputs.
- Billing and transaction information. Payment-card details are handled by our payment processor rather than stored directly by GEO Catalyst.
Information collected automatically
- Device, browser, approximate location derived from IP address, referring page, landing page, pages viewed, interaction events, timestamps, and diagnostic logs.
- Campaign and attribution information such as UTM parameters and advertising click identifiers.
- Cookies, local storage, session identifiers, and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.
Information from other sources
We may receive business contact, company, industry, company-size, professional-profile, advertising, attribution, and enrichment information from integrations, customers, public sources, and licensed business-data providers. Company or contact matches are probabilistic and may not identify the individual who visited our website.
3. How we use information
- Provide, secure, maintain, personalize, and improve the Services.
- Create AI visibility analyses, reports, recommendations, and customer-requested outputs.
- Authenticate users, administer workspaces, process transactions, and provide support.
- Measure acquisition, usage, product performance, conversions, and campaign effectiveness.
- Understand business audiences, qualify leads, enrich business records, and communicate about GEO Catalyst.
- Create audiences and measure advertising where permitted and subject to applicable consent choices.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our terms.
- Comply with law and protect our users, GEO Catalyst, and others.
Where required, we rely on consent. Depending on the context, we may also process information to perform a contract, comply with law, or pursue legitimate business interests that are not overridden by your rights.
4. AI and service-provider processing
To generate analyses and deliver requested features, we may send relevant submitted content to AI, search-data, hosting, database, analytics, payment, email, and other infrastructure providers acting for us. We limit these disclosures to what is reasonably necessary for the requested function and contractually manage providers where appropriate.
Do not submit sensitive personal information, private credentials, payment-card data, health information, government identifiers, or information you are not authorized to process.
5. How we disclose information
We may disclose information to:
- Vendors and subprocessors that support hosting, databases, authentication, AI processing, analytics, communications, payments, advertising, security, and customer support.
- Integrations and destinations you or your organization choose to connect.
- Your organization’s authorized workspace administrators and members.
- Authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce agreements, or protect rights and safety.
- A successor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some analytics, advertising, or audience activities may be considered “selling,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under certain privacy laws. Where those laws apply, you may opt out as described below.
6. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain business and security records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention depends on the information type, account status, contractual requirements, and applicable law.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
- Marketing: use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or contact us.
- Cookies: use available cookie controls and browser settings. See our Cookie Policy.
- Account information: update available profile settings or ask an authorized workspace administrator.
- Privacy requests: depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent.
- Targeted advertising: where applicable, you may request to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising by emailing us with the subject “Privacy Request.”
We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
8. International use and children
GEO Catalyst and its providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for cross-border transfers.
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our Services, practices, providers, or legal obligations. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Services or by email.
